To measure its corporate footprint, Aquatic Informatics has engaged Go Neutral Now, a Vancouver based greenhouse gas accounting firm. Go Neutral Now measures the greenhouse gas footprint using the CSA 14064-1 Specification. Aquatic Informatics reports its performance in annual GHG Reports, as required under ISO 14064-1 and in the GHG Protocol. Greenhouse gases that Aquatic Informatics cannot avoid through its reduction strategies, will be offset by the purchase of quality, verified, carbon offsets to reduce its greenhouse gas impact to zero. AI has selected Offsetters, Canada’s premier provider of high quality carbon offsets, as its provider.

“Our initial plan was to produce an audit for 2007 first, develop a greenhouse gas reduction strategy for 2008 and start purchasing carbon offsets from 2008 onwards.
