GREEN-FINGERED residents in Northumberland are being asked to grow their own as part of action on climate change.

Environmental volunteering organisation BTCV (British Trust for Conservation Volunteers) has set up a Carbon Army campaign to offer groups and individuals help to turn their food-growing ambitions into reality.
