A COUNCILS plans to cut carbon emissions over the next five years were laid out yesterday.
North Tyneside Mayor Linda Arkley formally announced the councils commitments at the launch of its carbon management strategy at the Rising Sun Countryside Centre, and outlined how the authority will tackle climate change at a local level.
She was joined by representatives from the Carbon Trust and pupils from four primary schools.
