Through a press release, the world’s third largest home appliances manufacturer Bosch und Siemens (News – Alert) Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH) announced the leveraging of Polycom telepresence systems for improving speed to market as well as for reducing its carbon footprint in the battle against climate change.
In the release, the appliances giant announced that it is expanding a global unified communications environment anchored by 120 Polycom (News – Alert) room telepresence systems that can be accessed instantly and easily through the Microsoft applications employees use every day.
According to BSH officials, Polycom network has been helping connect BSH facilities in more than 40 countries throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America and liberating engineers, marketing professionals, sales teams and senior managers from the limitations of place, time and distance.
