BHP carbon price call sensible – Garnaut

BHP Billiton chief executive Marius Kloppers’ support for a carbon price has won support from climate economist Ross Garnaut and the Greens.

Mr Kloppers has called for a carbon price and warned that all Australians must face up to the reality that electricity will become more expensive if Australia is to compete in a world economy less reliant on coal.
