View: Firms vow lower carbon use


Large Thai businesses have set a target to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions as a group by at least 7.7 million tonnes a year by 2012 through the aggressive development of a low-carbon society, said Anusorn Sangnimnuan, leader of the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD).
