At the NAB Show 2009, STRATACACHE announced that it’s widely used enterprise content distribution software, OmniCast, now integrates with and services the Signiant CDM platform, providing reliable “one-to-many” multicast media distribution capabilities.
With the OmniCast module, Signiant users have the ability to leverage the robust OmniCast distribution engine to reliably distribute files to up to 100,000 endpoints concurrently. Signiant users can pass instructions and information from the Signiant CDM to the OmniCast server, including endpoints to target, billing account numbers, and email notification lists. Additionally, the Signiant central media manager receives real-time status and notification when the digital package has been delivered.

OmniCast will be showcased at NAB in STRATACACHE booth C1546. OmniCast is capable of distributing very large digital files in any format with reliable delivery.
