(Reuters) – Italy’s government is looking to create a law to combat value-added tax (VAT) fraud in carbon trading and resume suspended operations on the local market, Industry Ministry Under-Secretary Stefano Saglia said on Friday.
“It (the new law) could be part of a year-end decree (…), I’d say it could be operative from mid-January,” Saglia told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference.
