Pastoralists can run livestock and increase the levels of carbon in the soil and vegetation, according to a recent study of the North West region of Western Australia by the Department of Agriculture and Food.
The study investigated the opportunities and risks of carbon-based enterprises in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.
