There's often a sense of hopelessness with the environment--it's too big, we can't fix it, other people don't care. But in reality, it takes each of us to make the best decisions on a daily basis that we can--in reducing our own footprint and in contacting legislators. It's a big issue, but as we've seen from the impact individuals make, we can make a big difference.
