Low Carbon: Staff at Halton Council join Cycle Plus and Greentravel2work schemes

STAFF at Halton Council are being encouraged to leave their cars at home and adopt a healthier, greener way of travelling to work.

Cycle Plus and Greentravel2work are two ways for employees to help stop clogging up Halton’s roads and reduce their carbon footprint by either biking it or hopping on the bus.

Competitors green with envy as Greyhound wins Environmental Award

Greyhound Australia has once again proven its standing as an industry leader in green travel with its recent environmental innovation win at the Queensland Bus Industry Council (QBIC) awards.

Chief Executive Officer Robert Thomas said Greyhound was thrilled to win the accolade and pleased the companys environmental efforts were being recognised within the industry.
