– Two New Switching Products Achieve ISO/CD 14067-1:2010 Compliance

Maintaining its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its products, D-Link Middle East & Africa today announced that it has become the first manufacturer of networking solutions to achieve compliance with a new international carbon footprint standard. D-Link’s 5-Port (DGS-1005D) and 8-Port (DGS-1008D) Desktop Switches are now certified compliant with ISO/CD 14067-1:20101 and PAS 2050:20082.

Carbon price business and community roundtables named

THE Federal Government has appointed a high-profile critic of its axed emissions trading scheme to advise it on the introduction of a price on carbon.

Woodside boss Don Voelte, along with 18 other people, has been appointed to a new business roundtable that will provide advice on the economic and business issues surrounding climate change.
